Interceptors protect the main drainage system by holding back the substances that block or damage it: grease from commercial kitchens, oil from workshops and plant areas, sand and silt from wash-down points, and lint from laundry discharges. Gully traps complete the separation points at floor level. These products are typically specified by the project’s consultant as part of the wastewater design.
